I got the creator of this scangauge mount to make one for an UltraGauge.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/scangauge-mount.624963/

This is his creation. The UG is pressure fitted into the mount that he printed up. There is a retention bar in the back to prevent the UG from backing out.

Your digital compass/air temp unit or garage door opener holder will need to be sacraficed.

Contact Ben if you are interested. Dont know if these are on his ebay marketplace yet.

    Email him at: zengxianpai@gmail.com

UPDATED: a new version HAS been designed where the back of the UG is accessible !!!

But how do you access the buttons on the back of the UG to actually use it?

I agree, I periodically change settings and display gauges; is the rear panel readily accessible?

UPDATE: A new version is being designed where the back of the UG will be accessible !!!

Unfortunately, the overhead panel will need to be remove to access the menu and arrow buttons on the back of the UG.

Previously, I had my UG on my dash and then the cubby near the ignition.... I didn't deviate from these existing 6 gauges. Functions for fuel economy measurements didn't matter that much to me since my truck avgs 12mpg and I didnt play with the acceleration feature much and wanted a permanent yet incognito mounting solution.

I use my UG basically as a "Gauge Display" and I dont mind that the buttons are inaccessible once my configuration is set. But i can understand why its a dealbreaker for some.

No easy access to the buttons at each fuel up is a no go for me.

That does look clean. Agree with lack of accessibility of the buttons to deter me from getting one. Mine gets disconnected once a year for emission testing.

could you drill couple say 1/2 in or so hole on each side to access the original one .I would rather have the 2 holes instead of t being all open like that . With that said looks good mounted up there .

There is not enough space on the side.

    Thanks for the suggestion though.

I think you still need to extend the cable.
I don’t own a Tacoma. The model was made based on the overhead console mailed to me.
