i have an 09 Tacoma access cab. The seats are becoming increasingly uncomfortable. Yes I know, but I cannot help the birthday thing!!!! What would be a good option to soften things up a bit?

I removed my driver's seat and removed the lower cover. Then I cut about a 1 1/2" thick piece out of the center section and glued a softer piece in that I got at Jo Ann's Fabrics. After the contact adhesive set up, I shaped it with an angle grinder with a flap disc. I reinstalled the factory cover and reinstalled the seat.
It is much better now. Now, my wife wants me to do the passenger side. I need to some day because I still have plenty of the foam left over from the first mod.

If you're handy, just a thought.

You should do a install thread when you do your wife's side.
