Ive got a 2001 Tacoma in the garage right now that when I was taking everything apart to take the head in, the little tab on the Engine Coolant Temp Sensor connector just broke. Old Brittle plastic. So I ordered a new one off Rock Auto (which I had done a couple years back). But now theres an issue with the connectors:

The only connector they have (PN 70012) is not the right connector for the ECT. The guide on the ECT (male) and the Connector (female) don't line up. I looked around online for a while and cant find a connector that fits the ECT, or an ECT with the correct guides to fit the connector. Four Seasons is the only one I can find that makes the connector and their own connector doesnt even match their sensor they produce.

Ended up using a dremel to grind down 2 of the 3 guides so the new connector would fit on the old sensor. Here are some pics. New connector is on the left (lighter grey) and the old one that fits the connector is darker grey.

    Hopefully this will help somebody!

I think you needed PN 90980–11062 (or 90980–10737). Funny some some with green case, some in dark gray. Not sure what the difference.
