So I’m at 112,000 miles in my 2016 TRD off road 6speed Manual transmission Tacoma. I want to change the front and rear differential fluid, the manual transmission fluid, and the transfer case fluid. I’m trying to find the part numbers for the crush washers for all the fill and drain plugs. Other than that it all looks pretty easy. Any advice is always helpful as well. Thanks!

At the top of the site are the sticky threads. There’s one for maintenance and will give you the part number for the washers. Hope that helps

There is a sticky with all that info above. I'd link it for ya but I'm on my phone and it's not an easy feat.

I also found out for anyone that needs to know that the manual transmission drain and fill washers are the same as the aluminum flat gaskets for the transfer case part number 90430-A003.

Holy cow is it impossible to find Toyota brand fluids for purchase at Toyota dealerships! I cannot believe the oils some of these places put in our trucks. I had the parts guy tell me I could just use the same oil as my differentials for my transfer case and to just buy it at auto zone. Ahhh no thanks. Kinda ticks me off I had the dealership change them all the first time. I’m pretty sure it’s all mobile 1 stuff and has the wrong weight oil in the transfer case. It’s pretty much to the point now days if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.

So this is what I ordered for the manual Transmission fluid. It’s what the owner’s manual stated. Anyone ever use this?

Interesting how much did it cost? Mobil1 synthetic 75-90 was $10.00 Quart. Ther was also Valvoline conventional 75-90 for about $6 quart

Amazon had it for like $33 a liter. Definitely not cheap but I don’t change it often and I’m keeping the truck till it doesn’t run anymore so I figure I’ll spend the money for the recommended fluid. Although I’m sure the other stuff is fine.

Never mind I canceled the order it’s GL-5. Not the GL-3 or 4. GL-5 has more sulfur in it which destroys the synchros in the manual transmission from what I’ve read. Back to looking for oil.

Thanks! I’ve been reading about that MT-90. It looks like pretty good stuff I’ll probably go with that for the transmission. I was able to get all the other fluids in Toyota brand.
