My truck disconnected from the TPMS in my tires, twice

This is the second time I’ve had my truck disconnect from the TPMS in my winter tires. Purchased from Canadian Tire with Alligator brand TPMS’s. Both dealer and Canadian tire said they have never seen a truck lose all 4 sensors at once. Does anyone have experience with this? Not really sure how they would work flawlessly for about a month each time and then disconnect each time.

Only bought the truck in October and put on the winters within a month so I don’t know if I will have the same problem with the OEM sensors. I’m sure dealer will blame the sensors and Canadian tire will blame the truck. This is going to be fun

 

My vote would be the the aftermarket sensors. Keep us posted.

 

Doesn’t it seem strange that all would disconnect at once though?

 

Not really, I’d expect that the truck would loose coms with all four rather than one.

 

Were the aftermarket sensors cloned from your factory sensors?
Are the factory sensors stored close to where you park the truck?

If so,,the sensors could be interfering with each other.

 

Yes they were cloned, but I don’t park very close to where they were stored and when I brought it back the tech gave them new ID’s because he wanted to make sure this wasn’t the case
