So I'm seeing different rear-view mirrors with these Tacomas. Some have a lot of buttons, some have a couple. Is there a listing somewhere of how many different versions of mirrors are there and which comes standard on what trims for 2020?

Besides Amazon there are at least two vendors on E bay offering " take offs " with instructions and/or wiring harness. I have used them twice over the last seven years. Under$100.00 and there were no disappointments.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but I have the SR model so it don’t have the pre wired. I’m sure I can just tap the wires and all these mirrors comes with wires and plugs.

what I am looking for is that black plastic sleeve that hides the mirror wires on the windshield, what is that called?

I think you’re looking for this piece.

The mirror I got which is the same as in the install video came with wires long enough to run to the fuse box. Or you can find a place to tap into in the overhead compartment.

I got one from Ebay as well. I wanted Homelink and it was way cheaper to go that route. It was straight plug and play.
