I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. The 5spd manual helps make it feel not as terribly slow as it actually is. But it averages about 35MPG which is nice!

 

That’s probably better than the battle tank and the V combined!

Can't say I know too.much about that fwd part. Freedom vehicles are usually rwd or 4wd right? Hashtag merica

 

Weight transfer makes 'em more fun than they should be.

 

You should see a fwd with e-brake engaged do a redline clutch dump..it can be spectacular!!

 

In high school a buddy of mine had a Civic that he would regularly beat to hell whether that mean engaging the ebrake and doing burn outs or engaging the ebrake while driving at highway speeds or attempting to drift using the ebrake. Dude gave 0 fucks

 

Ah, it was deceptively close. The horizontal mounts can be used (apparently), but he vertical plates on each side are too wide (though they would line up). I don't have a pic for it, but will get one when I clean them. The two mounts that go back from the bumper itself have a slight angle out - just like the OEM with a spacer they used (DEALER trailer package!), and the bumper mounts are "skinnier" than the DV8 bumper. And the DV8 is thicker so no slop. Imagine that the two vertical mounts are in the same place with the hitch and the new bumper. Looking at it says you could cut the plate off, use some brace metal to add to it, and move it outside the current vertical plane.
OR, the hitch kit that can be ordered for it looks like the same Curt, with no vertical mounts, turned upside down (comes out the middle of the bumper like an old gas filler tube!).
Since I have used the hitch TWICE in the 2 1/2 years, and for that flag mount I gave away for beer, it's like a "not right now" thing!

I don't even look at the V mileage but the Battle Tank gets 16.5 usually in mixed driving so I'm going to say that's a safe bet. We call the scion the Ammo Can and have talked about getting some vinyl decals made with ammo info to put on the side.
