New Member Intro

Hello all. I finally joined after many years of being a devoted Tacoma owner. I'm on my 4th in a row Tacoma. I had a 2005, 2010, 2015 and now after retiring a loaded 2018 TRD Sport. I'm not sure what took me so long to join, but I'm here now and looking for recommendations.
I bought my dad a 2002 Tacoma TRD off road back in 2005 from a guy that inherited it from his Dad that passed away. It had 44k miles on it.
Well now my Dad can no longer drive due to his vision. The truck now has 88k miles. Unbelievable considering I kept trading mine with around 150k on them and he put 44k on in 15 years.
The truck had the frame replaced in 2012 and gas tank replaced in 2018. My dad gave the truck back to me a couple months ago. I drive it 6 miles a day to and from the gym. I really need to sell it, but would like to replace the front and rear bumpers first and I'm looking for recommendations on what company to procure them from. I read some negative comments on this forum about Amazon for car parts. I did check RockAuto and they have a couple, but would like to hear from any of you.

Depending on the buyer, it may be best to leave the bumpers as is. Plenty of members on here would gladly slap some steel front and rear bumpers on if they bought it

 

Thanks P, I failed to mention I live in Upstate NY and we have to fight rust from all the salt used on the roads. The truck is in nice shape other than rusty chrome bumpers and the hood is really faded, which I'm considering having painted. I have all the service records and felt I would do much better on selling it if it all looked as good as it could. I'm thinking I can replace bumpers doing it myself for around $300-350 for painted black ones. The truck is black ext. cab so they would match well. Not sure how much to repaint the hood. Thanks for your input.
