Good morning all! I searched the forum to see if anyone had advice on this before I posted and I didnt really see anything.
Does anyone have a recommendation on seat covers that are pretty durable? I hunt and constantly outside so water resistant/proof would be really cool, LOL.
I live in Carhartt stuff so I wasn't sure if their seat covers were just as good?

    Thanks!

I’m also looking for seat covers. The Marathon seat covers seem to be a good deal, plus they come in my favorite camo pattern!!!

The folks at Escape Gear in South Africa make terrific seat covers. South Africa has a tradition of making nice things from canvas, as anyone who's been on safari will probably have noticed from how the game viewer Land Rovers or Land Cruisers are set up.

Their cotton canvas covers have been in my on my Gen 1 Tacoma for probably six or seven years (adapted from a Jeep Wrangler set) and I like them a lot. Cotton is more comfortable than synthetic 'cause it breathes better (IMO). Escape Gear do now offer a polyester/cotton blend for which they claim *much* greater durability, and that might be a good option for some.

They're working on a pattern for our Gen 2 trucks, and should have something on offer in the first half of 2020 (I'm guessing -- it's been a few months since I've corresponded with them.) The Escape Gear line is handled in the US by Paul May of EQUIPT Expedition Outfitters, or one can order directly from the company in South Africa, too, and get a package in the mail pretty efficiently and reasonably cost-effectively.

No interest in either company except being a happy customer.

If you go into the search area and search for "seat covers" in the thread titles, you should come up with threads on them. It'll at least give you threads with brand names to check out.

That's what I originally did and all I saw were "how to replace seat covers" or "replacing oem seats" etc. I dont think I looked into it deep enough though, well obviously. LOL. Thank you

Just make sure they’re SRS compliant.
