Dealer step pipes and hood deflector, high cap
    Hi all,
Had a 2002 xtra-cab long box from new, traded it in for a new 2015 double-cab long box TRD sport which I still have and hope to have for at least as long as the old one. Before that I had a 1991 4Runner bought used in 97 that was traded for the 2002. Love my Toyota 4x4s, and any Toyota vehicles in general actually. In fact, I'm a Toyota employee up here in Canada (TMMC.)
The attached picture is the day I switched from the 2002 to the 2015, and they are side by side in the pic. Wish I had and accessible pic for the old 4Runner to go with it.
I'm not really a car buff kinda guy, I don't know a lot of the technical stuff. I don't know what mods are good or bad. But I've crept this site from time to time to gain some knowledge so I thought I'd join the celebration of the Tacoma.
The only mods done to my 2015 is a hood deflector, step rails, a cap and some all terrain, all season, winter rated tires.
So I have a few questions:
    1. Is Taco an acceptable nickname or is it frowned upon?
    2. What mods should I have, or would be good, for regular use in Canada? (A little off road, small trailer, winter)
    3. Without getting a lift, what are the largest tires we can put on a 2015?
    4. Side window deflectors: Thoughts?
    5. Weathertech: Yes or no?
    Happy trails,
    Robbie

Thanks, Hobbs. Hmm, Hobbs and off-road, reminds me of a tattoo I got once...
