I’ve tried WD40 to fix the squeak.
    Didn’t work. Any recommendations

Put some grease on a old toothbrush or small brush and go over every moving part of the clutch under the dash. That usually hold me over for 2-3 years.

Matter of fact this has been an issue over the years. I have tried lithium as well and it was short lived. I see a post about using a toothbrush and getting it good down under. I’ll give it a try. If that doesn’t work. I’ll let it be. Next issue rust hole patching on the frame. Can’t wait!

i tried to put some of this Canadian stuff up under there by the spring and the associated mechanisms as best i could over a month ago
my squeak comes and goes with the seasons it seems, worse in the winter!
so far it is so very good compared to what it was getting to be this year

its not just for tight nuts! ... and about 3 months from now the stupid doors are going to start squeaking again i just know it :(

use some general grease lube like high temp stuff and try applying to the clutch fork where it connects into your tranny housing. There is a spot just inside of the housing where it pivots past the boot that's on the exterior. Taking a goop in my fingers and slathering it in the pivot point fixed mine for me for 1-2k miles now. Has not recurred even with rain.

When I tried by wd 40 and PB blaster in the same spots it'd fix it for a couple days, and return after next rain or dust storm

It's not the pedal it's the bearing possibly pushing on the clutch diaphragm. My 2009 has this problem, squeals in neutral, pressed in, squealing stops. They are not constant load throw out bearings and should only come in contact with the clutch when pedal is pressed down. Learned this from a thread on here. Might be for a 2nd gen area Tacoma problem.

i am sort of hearing that exterior sound in the McDonalds drive thru waiting for my $2 lunch and pumping the pedal in neutral, its not real bad yet but the inside sure does get to be

Slap some on the outer and inner pivot points in between the boot as depicted.

Mine still hasn't returned. I even went up north 3 weeks ago and I have since power washed without return of said sound.
