Rearrange the switchs in the '18

Has anyone done this yet? I would like to move the rear window slider switch from the center console to the Knee cubby. Just makes more sense to me to have all the rear "stuff" in one location.
Probably not a big deal other than extending the wiring. But you think that the Japanese Engineer would have thought about this.

Disconnect your battery before doing any electrical mods to this truck.

 

I tried moving one or 2 around, but they are keyed to only go in their spot

 

You will need to get a 2016-2017 left side panel as the window switch has a special indent to fit right. You can see the indent on the bottom.
But aside from that, you should be able to just extend the wires over there.


If you have auto high beams, then you will need to relocate that switch too. And your center switch panel will have a weird indent where the window switch used to be.
