    Hello,

I'm interested in upgrading from a 1st Gen to a 2nd Gen Tacoma, and have been looking around to get an idea of current pricing. I'm located in Texas, not opposed to driving 100-200 miles for the right truck, but not interested in flying anywhere.

This truck came up for sale at a local dealership, do y'all think this is a fair price?

    2015 4wd V6 5A, no rear locker. 50k miles, one owner SR5 package. Asking $21,888
    upload_2020-2-3_13-55-37.jpg[IMG][IMG]

I like the 2012 facelift, but wouldn't be opposed to an 07-11 truck for the right price. Any thoughts, tips, things to look out for, current price ballparks? Don't really want to end up with anything higher than 150k miles, but I know these trucks have a good reputation. Thanks!

It looks like a good price to me. I paid around 26 for my 15 2 years ago TRD Sport manual with about the same miles

Am not in Texas though and I know prices or values vary around the country

    Do it,

my 15 Prerunner has an open market value of 25k.....

21 for a 4x4 here in Texas is a steal.

    when I bought mine they had a 2007 4x4 SR5
In green with 90k on the clock......39k is what they were asking!!!!

it is Texas, we love TRUCKS!!!

    Stock for now.. maybe
I paid more for my 2015 access cab 4x4 manual v6 with roughly the same miles a few months ago. Give it a drive and have someone look it over (if you aren't able to). I'd say it's a good price if everything checks out. May as well try to knock price down a bit

I have the same truck a year older. Bought it 2 years ago in CA for more than you have listed with more miles.

I view that as a good price. When I moved to Tx, I started looking at other tacomas for sale to see if I still thought I had a good value, and I think that truck would normally sell over 22k.

    This and that...
Check out Carmax. Not only will they ship one to you for free or for fee depending on distance, you can also compare more prices for similar Tacomas. My Carmax 2014 Tacoma was below dealer price of a similar Tacoma with the same trim and with fewer miles. Also in CO, any out of state Tacoma appreciates in value when they cross the border.

If it’s never been wrecked single owner that’s a steal.

Thanks for the advice guys, and good tip on Carmax Voltron. Called the dealership shortly after this post, they sold the truck 30 minutes after it was posted. Should’ve been quicker, but there’ll be another one!

It said “Toyota Sport Series” under it, I’m unfamiliar with the package and have only seen that badge on Tundras before
