Ya just how I cook when I pan fry. I don’t put it on heavy at all. Glad to know I’m not the only one that it happens to. It’s just one of the many images I found on a search. It’s why I rarely bread anything in the air fryer anymore.

The only thing I've breaded was with flour egg wash then Panko... Turned out perfectly.

Hopefully someone has an answer for the flour issue

4A0B0705-E28B-4C58-850E-447DCD128AA5.jpg The fish turned out good. Crispy outside and flaky/moist inside. I think next time I would hit the fish with some vegetable oil cooking spray after it’s breaded. Chicken wings etc seem to work well because the oil in the skin migrated out into the flour as it cooks. This worked well for a first try though.

Looks great, what kind or fish and no white flour showing in your coating.

That’s wild caught BC Halibut! I used fish fry powder. It’s like fine cornmeal, white flour and some spices and other stuff.

    Looked like fine halibut!

Fish fry powder looks like a sweet ticket for air frying.

Ya that works nice. I've done a bunch of shrimp with it when we've done po-boys.

I’m partial to this one. Might not be available in the States though.
