What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Duplicolor respray, these pics are pre clear coat. I sprayed the clear right before it got dark.

Did the roof a few months back, that was bad. Waited far too long before taking care of it.

Its definitely a 5 ft paint job but the rust is all gone and it looks better than the flaking clear.

I have the same ones. Zero issues with 35s with 4lo rock crawling

 

I helped some idiot that overloaded his tiny frontier's bed. He put too much laminate flooring in it and tried going up the ramps at the condo I work at and spilled more than half his load. I loaded it into my truck and shuttled it to him. So also had my first bed load trip. About 15-20 boxes at like 20-30LB PER.

There are so many ways spilling half your load can be interpreted. An optimist would say he saved half his load from spilling into your bed.

 

Removed the eyelids, they started bubbling...think they didn’t like the heat off of the ULTIMATE HEADLIGHT UPGRADE. Think it looks cleaner without them anyways.

 

I like my gas one, its held up great for 10 years. I got lowes to throw it in when I bought a zero turn lawn mower. Anyway what I really want is a wash sink in the garage with hot water and a tankless water heater. oh and throw in a drain in the floor. Planning to sell the house in the spring, finding all of that and all the crap my wife wants in a house is next to impossible. But a guy can dream. or add it later.

I agree, looks way better! The 2nd gen headlights are one of the best designed headlight I have ever seen. I like them more and more! Especially with these new micro lights coming out. like the jeep Cherokee or the new Chevy blazer. they just look awful!

Long live big halogen headlights. And big mirrors too!! Its a truck, I pull stuff, I like to see!

You can wire in a couple resistors to tone them down alittle. I also wired the red lights to the brake lights.

 

I have the large tire front flaps. It's a totally different setup. I need to bend a tab for my fronts.

Kinda off topic but I originally bought these Rokblokz because I ripped off a rear and front flap while wheeling a couple years ago. But when you install the new Rokblokz, you use the factory holes... that I destroyed... Anyway, I made a plug and it lasted 2 years but not long ago I went through a carwash with those spinning paint sanders (I didn't have time to hand wash and no touchless nearby) and it ripped my Rokblokz off!
So I 3D printed new spacers and bought new stainless hardware! Going to reinstall them tonight.

Are those axles for +3.5 or stock length?

 

Most auto part CVs have lifetime warranty so worst case, you break one, exchange it for new one, keep that as spare, and install a napa one.
