Never saw the point in those little tube doors, it's not like the stock doors were considered safety devices anyway. At least not for the TJ, I don't know as it's gotten bigger and heavier if they've said differently.

5th gear took a shit about 2.5 years in.
Synchro, fork, shifter rail and eventually the entire 5th gear assembly.

Cause per dealership......resting my hand on the shifter.

    Absolutely,
It was down a couple days. No biggie.
I just never felt the same about the car after that.

However, I didn't want chrysler/fiat to leave a bad taste in my mouth so I decided to go with the JLU Rubi. 7yr/70k warranty.

It’s all fun and games until you realize that you paid $70k for a truck you can’t drive in the rain.

Why does the Rubicon have a different warranty?

    You mean length?
You can get whatever you like when youre signing. Basic or extendage coverage.
I figured since it was a 1st year production model, I wanted a bit more than the basics.
To many electronic gadgets in vehicles these days.

So you got an extended warranty? Not that the Rubicon came with a different length warranty.

Just noticed all the grab handles. Looks like a minimum of 8.

That's for all the ladies that will be mobbing this truck at mudfest 2020!

Well that's what the salesman said to me...

My truck only has 1... a really fat heavy duty one...

I like how they just state "lift". For almost $10k, I'd expect to see some serious info posted about it. And, it better be a pretty impressive lift!

I agree they should have laid out some info at least. I did look, not sure about the lift brand.
But it did have some really nice FOX shocks.

Better lifts available now at well below $10k:

Longer wheelbase means there's room to convert the rear to a triangulated 4-link setup with no track bar.

I think the Gladiator is Jeep's version of the Ridgeline. It looks like a pickup version of the Wrangler while the Ridgeline looks like a pickup version of the Pilot.

$43,545 base price for a Rubicon is a good deal IMO. The option packages are outrageous though. You can't get just one thing you want, no no, Jeep gonna add in another $1000 or two of things I don't want.

If I was in the market for a truck bed again I'd consider the base Rubicon and go aftermarket for the few things I'd want to enhance it.
