Drilled through my campershell today to add tracks and bars! High stress stuff for me. I’m exhausted. Hopefully it works right. Seems to go “smooth” enough.

How much time did it take to bolt them on. I just finished mine but cant decide to bolt on or weld them. Seems like bolting would take forever

Damn thats pretty quick. They are long bolts running threw the box frame right?

Certainly faster than cutting off welded ones and re-welding if you ever needed to take them off.

The bolts do not go through the frame, they bolt into a tapped 3/8'' plate that's welded to the frame.

Finally made my roof mounted lights 'legal'...found some soft covers online that didn't cost an arm and a leg like every other brand I found previously. $10 per pair from Quadratech

Haven't gotten pulled over with them uncovered but know plenty of guys around here that have, figured it best not to push my luck anymore

I bought this set, it comes with a DC 12v plug. I ran lights to the drivers and passengers side and lights under both seats for the back.

this past weekend, while it was warmish, i tried out this detail product to jazzy up the interior
i DO NOT recommend putting this on the steering wheel grips area, no matter how much appearance improvement it makes! ... i darned near could not keep it under control in the cold morning  with hands slipping all over trying to steer down the street, i was feeling helpless for a bit,

...Back at the truck, we now had a decision to make - we could either head back out the way we'd come - over the washboard-power-line-road-of-death, or continue south on Yates Well Road. I knew the Yates Well road would eventually - if it were passable - connect to the Colosseum Mine, and we both felt that we needed a bit of redemption in that department, so we decided to give it a shot - after all, the worst that could happen is that we'd have to turn around.
Well, the worst that could happen is that we'd get stuck in the middle of nowhere and die from the cold, but that was unlikely. AmIRight? ;)

Finally yanked out my bed liner. That was satisfying. The roll-on comes next.

My truck has a topper, and I pulled the liner out by myself, so I cut the front lip off from inside so I could pull out the liner without to much messing around with the top. Problem is, the front lip of the liner fell down between the cab and the bed and due to its awkward shape it is trapped in there. Now it’s rattling around and no doubt wearing the paint slowly away. The irony is not lost on me. Any clever ideas before I remove the whole bed?

A set of those little grabber fingers that are for picking up stuff. Probably available at Harbor Freight. https://www.amazon.com/HARDK-Claw-M...ber+reacher+tool+finger&qid=1580934372&sr=8-6
