Gonna do the rear diff relocate mod. Looking for opinions on where to put it.

Looks like most popular are either in one of the bed pockets or behind the tail light.

Opinions on either place? Any pros or cons of each location?

Tail light. Pretty easy to route and higher up than the bed cubby. Just unbolt the tail and you’ve got full access.

Im leaning towards behind the tail light. Primarily cause no drilling. But just wanted input I guess.

The same shit everyone else has.
Taillight. Higher up. No need to drill unnecessary holes.

I put it inside the fuel door. My logic was simple, "If water gets up high enough it's in the fuel door I'll have other issues..."

Not sure why you need anything more then the vent hose to be zip tied to the filler neck in the bedside.

If you are up to water past the kick panels your truck is destroyed. Your diff oil is the least of your problems at that point.

Plus if your axle ever decides to puke it will either be over your gas cap or tail light.

I used the cubby. I went so far as to put a loop in the hose to act as a trap. The end of the hose extends above the cubby.
