    I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    Just thinking. I think the ultimate exhaust set up would DT short tubes with the URD Y pipe, but instead of just bolting on the Y pipe you cut it and weld to keep the rear cat's. Then put on a TRD cat back. Nice power, good sound but not very loud and legal in every state. What do you guys think?

    Uh... Sounds like a good plan, but I wouldn't hope to see much... Just saying. Look to get maybe 10 horse...? Somewhere in that range. Sounds great, I just don't think that the benefits outweigh what it will cost you.

    Hear's how I'm thinking about it;

    Headers = added power
    Keeping all cats = keeping some backpressure for torque
    Y-Pipe = relocate exhaust routing for skids
    TRD Cat Back = nice sound & not too loud

    I completely understand your logic. I am just saying that it will cost you a lot to do all of that... You just wont reap many benefits. Do it and prove me wrong though!
