Changing all my fluids need part numbers.

    The Toyota stuff is single weight
    75w
    I think the main thing to look for is that it is GL-4 with minimal sulphur in the blend
    About to pull the trigger on some Castrol 75wt

    Well found that the morons at the dealership cross threaded my transmission drain plug last time I had the fluid changed and almost completely stripped out my hex headed front differential drain bolt! Seriously I’m livid how hard is it to insert a damn bolt!!

    Transmission drain hole cross threaded.

    All of the Toyota brand fluids except for the transmission all I could find that was GL-4 was redline MT90 and it looks like guys have had good luck with it. I’m disappointed I didn’t do it myself the first time. I didn’t know it was so easy. Now I have to go back and fight the dealership on this.

    Yes at the very least get them to give you a new plug and tell them you will install it

    Did it actually come in the can like the pic above

    The Toyota brand front and rear diff oil came in a can. The redline transmission oil came in bottles.
