    Did you find a skid?!

I replaced the stock OR skids on my Taco awhile back and the OEM skids are taking up space in my garage. I also have the OEM OR fuel tank skid... are you still looking?!

Wow! I really appreciate the response but I’m actually leaving tomorrow morning and I don’t think I’ll be needing the skid anymore since I can grab mine at the shop on Friday. I took it pretty easy this week and didn’t off-road too much.

What aftermarket skids did you put on your OR?

    Right on. Drive safe!

I went with Mobtown full skids, had the exhaust rerouted, and also installed a Pelfrey fuel skid... here's some terrible pics. IMG_1590.jpg

That looks awesome and provides some serious protection. I can see why you upgraded so quickly!

Anyone in Bend have a MPVI2 tuner? I’d like to put a HPtuners tune on my truck.

I'll be making the trip from Seattle to Bend this weekend, would you guys recommend 20 or 22? What do the passes look like? I haven't been down that way in 15- 20 years

Take the 22. Passes look like they will see decent snow this weekend.

Thanks. It looks to be the shortest route but also more roundabout. Figured I'd ask. Do they shut them down often?

Hardly never. However, trees do fall at times.

Do you have a reason for those routes? I prefer coming over Mt. Hood personally. It ends up being faster by 20-30 minutes. Your call though.

I was just going by Google maps recommendation. That does look better. I'll be sure and bring my chainsaw in case of fallen trees

It really depends on what time you look at it and what time you're traveling due to the Portland/Gresham and mountain traffic (aka ski/snowboard traffic over Mt. Hood).

If any roads are closed they should be posted here. You can also check the webcams on the passes. Have a safe trip.

I'll probably hit Portland about 10, and again about 5-6. Appreciate the info
