    Hey fellow taco lovers

    I have a 2018 Tacoma TRD sport 4x4

Think about running a bigger size BFG ko2 275/70/17 with a 2 front leveling kit just wondering if it might rub up on anything

I have 2” Bilstien 6112/5160 set at 5/6 and Dakar’s with Camburg BJ UCAs. I’m running 275/70/17 wildpeak AT3W on 17x8.5 with -10 offset rims. I get rubbing when in reverse with wheel turned about 1/2 to 3/4 full lock. Trimmed a little of the plastic liner and placed masking tape along anywhere i thought it was rubbing. Did the reverse turns pulled into elevated driveway forward and reverse. Looked at tape and it’s rubbing on Cab Mounts. I’ve read a lot of people saying 275/70 wont rub at all. Im gonna need a Cab Mount Chop. Hope this helps

and you will have to remove your mud flaps.

Good to know. I was debating going witth 275s instead of 285s on a 2 in level to avoid cmc, but if 275s require a cmc might as well get the 285s.

that’s why i went 275s to avoid the chop and had i known it would rub would have bought 285s instead especially since i have to do CMC.

Behind the inner fender above the cab mount there’s styrofoam blocks. I think I get too much plastic out
