Nightshade Taco rumor?

I sAw they have a venture edition 4Runner and couldn’t figure out why they charged so much for it lol

 

What every car company needs to bring back is dirt cheap base models with manual everything. Bring back the 1980s.
If i could get a 4 cyl reg cab 4x4 with manual trans for under $15,000 out the door new, i'd be ok with non-powered stuff like steering, windows, locks, seat, etc.

 

Might be cool to see the return of x-runners. Lowered, murdered out. At least it would be different.

 

I'm waiting for the chrome edition. Blind all the naysayers into oblivion. Chiny!

 

Problem is I think a lot of guys would get something like that and car companies wouldn't make much of a profit as a result. Profits are in the expensive trucks.

 

Maybe it's a Hybrid since it has the chin spoiler and low rolling resistant tires. The black fender flairs has me skeptical... Unless it's a Hybrid TRD OR.

 

You can see from the teaser what it is. 4Runner and Corolla I think have the same trim. Black wheels, black plastic trim and blackout emblems.

 

Looks like for 2020 they did a slight upgrade to the front end, added a base SR trim and unless I am mistaken looks like access can and cree cab only now no more.standard cabs.
Also looks like for 2021 they will have a nightshade edition.

 

There is no 4WD option for the 2021 nightshade editions. One step closer to the ridgeline

only listed options are RWD and AWD

 

Ahh that i didnt know!
Also for night shade tacos it looks like only around 7k will be made.
