Anyone have a Stribog? Know a shop with one in?

 

Itll probably depend but i know my troy I was able to use the regular wrench since it had the three prongs to fit in the gas tube holes. Maybe just take the barrel nut to the local gun store and see if itll work.

are these supposed to be better than scorpions?

 

I dont know much about the company, but they generally cost a little more and dont have the aftermarket, for whatever thats worth. They do look cool tho

Honestly, an AR9 is going to have the same controls and a lot of the same parts as a regular AR platform which is pretty attractive. I love my scorpion, but I keep thinking about building one. What was sunday? I cant think of anything but im running pretty slow this morning

 

been hearing good things about the CMMG Guard delayed blowback AR9. Looks like it has a smoother recoil impulse than straight blowback.

 

Supposedly the new stribog is going to be delayed/roller blowback too

 

You'd think so, but my distributors have all dropped the Stribog for their inventory.....

Subjective, but there's a lot of love for the stribog. The upcoming roller delayed A3 version should be even better.

 

Honestly, i have changed everything except the bolt, barrel and receiver on my scorpion. I love it now, but you do have to change a lot of shit to make them nice

Stribogs going for $650 online. That things $1 short of four stribogs

 

Are Stribogs the ones that have pretty much had rolling changes so you have to be careful which one you get? Cant remember if it was them or a different cheaper one that had issues when first released and they just sort of randomly changed things on the next import. Thought it was the Stribog cause things changed like the recoil setup to prepare for something (rollers?)

Still rather interesting guns that seem to be getting great reviews though! if i was in the market I'd definitely consider one!

I'm looking to purchase my first handgun next week. Any tips/advice for offroad shooting in oregon? Any suggested spots? I plan on hitting the indoor range a lot to get more experience but I like exploring Oregon and I wouldn't mind stopping somewhere in the forest to get some shooting in.
