Thanks to all that post on the forum. Saved me again. I was in the middle of no where with ice on the windshield last week 1000 miles from home. I'll be danged if after I started the truck, turned on the defroster and no air blowing. I tried all the different settings and nothing, no air from the blower motor.

I was lucky enough to have internet on my phone. I search these forums over and over. There are quite a few threads on the blower motor issues. My truck 2014 double cab off road. I first checked the fuses. All good. Checked the cabin filter not that bad. Check the connectors and the resister, looks okay. Dang if my hands were not freezing! Stumbled upon tap the fan, tapped it and voila! air started blowing. It went out a couple of times on the way home. Tapped it, started working again.

I got home reassessed everything and bought the TYC replacement for like 36 bucks on Amazon. It is so simple to replace, the only catch on my 2014 is there is 2 fittings on the motor to hold the wires. The non white one did not want to come out. I finally got it out. Popped on the white plastic connector, mounted it back under the dash, popped on the black wiring harness, voila, done. The TYC for me is actually quieter and blows a little more air. I don't know if it will last as long as original, but happy for now.

    Thanks again
