07 AC V6 with 6 speed MT, ~140k miles with original clutch

When cruising on the highway, Between 2k and 2.5k rpm, I hear a faint Wah Wah Wah sound that I think is coming from the transmission or drivetrain... not sure what it is but is a new sound that I feel like is telling something is about to go. Doesnt make the sound when I put it in neutral and coast but speed drops pretty quick...

    Any ideas? Much appreciated.

Is the noise Speed based or RPM based?
When my wheel bearing was failing the noise was speed based.
During the time it was failing, it moved to different speed ranges while “cruising”
Also, does the noise change when going into or out of a curve or while turning?

My first thought was wheel bearing too.

It does seem to change frequency when turning and is speed based. When I speed past 50 it seems to go away but I'll experiment a bit more driving to work tomorrow to be sure. Also, had tires rotated about 2 weeks ago. Thanks for the replies.

A few years back, I had a wheel bearing going bad on my Corolla. I couldn't tell which one until I jacked the car up, removed the wheels and slowly rotated each wheel by hand, using the lug studs. Only then could I feel the slight grinding of the bearing. I honestly thought I just needed new tires.
Give that a try. You might need to unbolt your calipers to reduce drag on the fronts while you try this.
