    Hi all,

I have a 95 reg cab 2.7L with stock suspension. It's time for new shocks all around. I've been carrying about 500 pounds in the truck at all times (I'm traveling with a cap and lots of gear) and my rear end is sagging a bit. I'm thinking of getting Bilstein 5100's for all 4 corners. I'm thinking of also getting Ride Right Airbags to help with the extra weight, which will also be nice if I ever get a camper. Here's my question: Will the 4 new shocks and the Airbags be all I need for a slightly lifted truck with a higher payload? Or should I still get and AAL with the Airbags? I've been reading that the 5100 shocks are meant for a lifted truck, hence the AAL most people use when they get these shocks. Thanks

How many miles in the current leaf springs?
It may be a better idea to upgrade your leaf packs if they’re warn out.

This is good advice, ideally a new leaf pack with extra load would be the best choice.

Air ride is almost a band aid. But it helps. It will 100% work with the 5100's and will help the truck stay level and drive much better.

If you go Air bags do you plan on going to on board air so your able to adjust things as needed .

No matter how good the install given time it seems all air ride systems will leak

Hauling 500 pounds is not much weight maybe your underestimating your weight.

Another option is new springs then look into Super Springs it is the system I use.
