I’ve have had my Off-Road for about a year and I’m looking for a change. I have been weighing rim options.
Locally, there’s a shop that specializes in OE rims. They have a set of 2020 TRD Pro 4Runner rims and tires for sale for $1,250. Tires have 30 miles on them.

My Off-Road rims and tires have about 14k on them. They’re in great shape, but not new.

He’s said that he’d switch them out and set the TPMS sensors for $900.

I’m tempted to do it, but like everything, not sure if it’s a good deal. Essentially, I’m selling my rims and tires for $350. To me, there’s a value in not having to take the time to sell them and install new, but I don’t know what the OR rims should go for.
So I’m asking the collective. Thoughts?

5100 set to max, pending LSD and TRD CAI
Personally I wouldn’t bother unless the Pro has better all terrain tires like some KO2. Those pro wheels are so played out it’s not even funny.

You might be able to get a little more then $350 if you sell yours on your own but sometimes the convenience factor is worth it.

I sold my off-road rims and tires with 30k miles on them for $500 without tpms so you can probably get more than $350. I sold mine to a 1st gen tundra.

I live in OK, plenty of trucks, leaning towards doing it.
One of the main reasons I hadn’t pulled the trigger on anything is I wanted to go to 17s and the cost of tires when I don’t need them was just silly to me.
I could get more if I sold them myself. But I’m like a lot of you- time is a factor. Kids and stuff...

900.00 for rims and like new tires. That's a good deal.

If this is the wheel package you want, it's a good deal.
Plus, it's mounted, balanced, and you don't have to hassle with your old rims and tires. That's a big bonus.
