I posted about this earlier today, but think I lost it. Here goes:
My truck-09 Tacoma V6 access cab 4wd 6spd. Thought I was going to have return it to the stealership for good, only had it for 3weeks maybe 2. The carfax said right front hit, test drive was fine till I got it home and had the right side wonders/pull. Alignment did not fix it(was getting very worried) and told the shop I learned on here that Tacoma's need lug centric tire balancing. They gave me the name of a shop with a road force balancer. So I went and they did it, but they didn't do what they told me also needed to be done, because, believe it or not, the balance nearly fixed the problem but it did still have some right side pull until I fixed it completely to my surprise. Here is what happened.....I had a spongy brake pedal and so I bleed the lines thinking I might have had air, I did and it worked, but putting the tire back on LUG CENTRICLY. was the solution altogether, honestly.
Sorry for the bold type, can't shut it off, grrrr.
So when I went to put the tire back on, as I normally do I put rest tire on the studs for support like all of us do right? Don't do that with Tacoma's. Support the wheel so that it does not rest on the studs how? Either with your legs or or a Jack, and screw 2 lug nuts on @ the same time, upper and lower, above and below, diagonal from each other and tighten. Finish all the others, diagonal from each other. This, straightened out my right side pulling or alignment issues and I think vibrations. Do a lug centric balance first before an alignment, or lug centric your lug nuts yourself in the holes of your wheels to diagnose things yourself cheaper.
    Hope this helps everyone, anyone.
    God Bless.
