    Hey!
I got a 2005 Access Cab TRD, with the volume/mode switches on the steering wheel. The buttons don’t work and my cruse only working intermediately... Any ideas what it would be? And if it’s the clock spring, are they hard to change out?

Clock spring is the usual culprit. It's not difficult to replace but the steering wheel sometimes sticks and is difficult to remove. It may be tempting to get a cheap Chinese made clock spring but you may end up getting two or three as they break down quickly. But, may still save you money over oem. My cruise control went bad about 3 years ago. Replaced with a Chinese CS and fixed the problem but the air bag light came on. Replaced with another Chinese CS which worked for about two years and the air bag light came back on again. That's where I'm at now; air light is on but cruise control works. Will be buying another Chinese CS. They're only about $15 compared to $220+ for oem.
