Google maps is great. Plus the country roads are all I take to work for the most part

be advised: 1st gen cv boot kit not gonna work on 2nd gen. ;) i am a week out of Amazon return window but they hooked it up with the rma.

capitol toyota wanted $75 for a boot kit - 04428-04010 - so i ordered from amazon and will save $30.

    my dining room table waits...

i didn't disassemble the outer side, just wiped out as much grease as i could. grease looks good. i now see why you can get just one boot for about $25. i could have saved the boot and reused instead of ripping into it. and now i know.

I just didn’t know of anywhere on 93A that has orchards on left, and open fields on right. That’s why I was thinking Putah Creek Road, which is like ~1/2 mile south parallel to Russell.
I think it’d have to be county rd 32, which is Russell after it turns off 93A.
If the roads are really crappy, it might have to be Russell/32. The area through the 90 degree turns is really bad. And that might be the UCDavis LTRAS ag station on the far right of the photo.
My wife actually drives on 80 to Pedrick, and then goes Sievers over to Winters area. Although she works a few miles south of town, so it makes a bit more sense.

I’ll be switching the rest soon. Swapping wheels and tires in the nest week or so, so I’ll get it done then. Plus spares

Thats exactly where i was. West of 98. I normally come in the way your wife does, but on my way home i take Russell. I have timed myself, they are both the same amount of time. Less traffic coming from pedrick and a more scenic drive

17 and 1 have been a nightmare today. All of Santa Cruz is backed up. Saw a Camry with its front end crushed by a tree earlier and had a massive branch come down right in front of my truck as we were driving.

I was gonna say, the hills are a mess. Someone posted in the Aptopsia group about 5 big redwoods that have come down. That's insane.
I had been thinking about cutting a tree down today but don't want the added risk of huge gusts.

Right there with you and nothing really helps at all. Hopefully it dies down overnight.

I'm a few miles from Sac Exec Airport. 38 mph sounds about right. Crazy that Kirkwood clocked 200+. That's brisk.

This is WunderMap which comes from Weatherunderground. There are weather stations you can click on and find historical information. Some cool shit.

It's hard to say whether the 200mph is real or not. Sometimes wind instruments are influenced by nearby buildings or some other reason. I've seen the Tahoe area experience strange readings from time to time. I just look at other stations in the area and try and correlate the unusual reading. Of course those nearby stations don't necessarily mean 200mph is out of the question.

Anyway, have fun. See all the info you can find about the weather from these maps.

If by chance anyone knows a resource to get historical sunrise/sunset times from for around 6-7 years ago, please let me know. I got a project that information is needed for.
