Hey guys I’m in the market to buy my first Tacoma. Debating between a 2017 Tacoma Trd pro with 17k miles for $27500.00 or. 2019 trd sport with 3k miles for 32200.00. Any pros or cons without getting in to full detail on the difference? I will do some off road nothing hard core. Look forward to joining the group.

    Thanks!

2017 TRD Pro, based on KBB with standard equipment is showing average private party value in very good condition at $34,675.

2019 TRD Sport, assuming the same, $31,616.

All this varies based on region, but in paper the TRD Pro is the better buy. That’s what I’d go with if I were to buy. Just some food for thought!

Also, even though you’d presumably be out of bumper to bumper warranty on the pro, you are still under powertrain coverage for the 5yr/60k. I think buying at the 27,500 you’d always be in an equity position on that truck.
