Have the exact same scenario here only with Eastern Bluebirds. Unlike Robins which I assume is a Spring (mating) thing these little buggers (territorial) are at it year round. Here Bluebirds and Robbins are a protected species so dispatching them is a no no and carries significant consequences if caught.
I should note that we've provided nesting boxes around the property to incourage nesting so it is an unforseen consequence that has never happened until this past Spring. Why all of a sudden now, we'll I guess it's because we've been successful propagating numerous broods over the years and now it's come down to the number of birds vs the amount of habitat available.

On the down side my Tacoma gets washed frequently......., on the up side my Tacoma gets washed frequently!

Frequent laser washes with the undercarriage option during the winter months to get rid of the salt residue actually turns out to be a major plus so............

Another plus is that the Bluebirds and Tree Swallows that nest here consume a significant amount of insects especially mosquitoes.

Now the Sparrows that try to nest here are another story and for them since they provide no benefit to us whatsoever and also dump on my Tacoma, and are not a protected species so it's a no holds barred all out war!!

I finally got around to wiring all these switches up. I still need to make a bracket for the relay/fuse block under the hood so for now it’s zip tied. The switches look factory, and power relays under the hood to send power to the actual device. The switches can only take 3 amps so I have them fused, to a relay(that’s also fused). In the case of the the winch it goes to a solenoid to send power from the battery to the controller.

Finally finished out my interior black out pieces today with the AJT 4X4 and start button trim as well as the MESO shift boot cover which gives the Pro Shift Knob a better look in my opinion.

 

Platidipped the Tacoma badges. Mounted some gopro mounts.

 

Installed an adhesive USB LED strip to the center console. Amazon listings aren't always accurate. Took a couple of tries to find a simple one with resin overmold and without a fancy RGB bluetooth remote.

This pace has been horrible for my wallet, and I'm not even done yet. First pic is fresh off lot. Decided I wanted to get rid of the TRD sticker and add the black lettering to the tailgate. Plastidipped the wheels for now until I decide what I want.
Picked up the sliders and installed yesterday. Getting tint today.
Been picking up alot of goodies based on so many great recommendations on here. Now I am trying to decide on tires. Amazing how much info there is on here but it is a tough choice. The Nitto Grappler, the KO2, the Falken ATW3 and the Wrangler Duratrac seem to be where I am leaning.
I live in NorCal and travel often to the mountains, but do not do a ton of offroading. I do spend quite a bit of time on freeways for my businesses so I don't want something that is going to destroy the MPG or the ears.
