Anyone get the Gen 2 "all-weather rubber floor" as original equipment?

The rubber floor as an alternative to carpet was available as an original equipment option, at least per an illustration in the 2015 brochure.

But I can't find any other reference to it in the specifications or options later in the brochure. It's completely orphaned but for that reference on page 11.

Does anyone here have a truck that was fitted with the all-weather rubber floor from the factory? How was it described and priced on the original window sticker?

PS: I have one here for installation in my 2015 Gen 2 when the weather gets hot and plastics lend themselves more to being flexed!

Why not just buy it and install it yourself? I went this route when I tossed my carpet. Nvm, I see that you did buy the flooring.

What do you mean by "it", @Wattapunk?

This thread is to see how the option was originally offered. Yes, there are a number of ways one could retrofit, either with the OEM floor through the dealer or by fitting generic vinyl flooring. We have another thread ongoing for that topic.

Sorry, misread your actual question. From what I gathered from reading past posts on this, members mentioned it being an option as "all weather flooring" and it was $50 upgrade.

If you have bought the flooring and haven't installed it yet, I would highly recommend laying down some kilmat or similar on the cabin floor and back wall for sound dampening.

I'll buy that. It was surprising how much *noiser* the interior of my truck became when I drove around with the rear seat removed for a few days. Dynamat or similar is on my list.

For those who paid around fifty bucks for the original mat when they got their truck -- how did you order it? From my experience, Toyota dealers hate special builds and will do a lot to avoid doing that. How did you know you could get it? What option code was it? What models could it be ordered for?
