Retrofit and BHLM Headlights

I think mine was about $60 for 2x15 lbs packages from MA via FedEx.

 

The issue is that a UPS Store, or similar can charge whatever they want. They are typically more expensive than an actual ups Hub, or printing your own labels online. They are franchises and mark up their services. That’s why I always recommend printing your labels through UPS.com

 

^^^^ This for sure. You can get your own accounts at all three major shippers (ups, Fedex and USPS) online for free and do alot of things besides shipping, like see ALL incoming packages (and mail) and be alerted by text or email. USPS has informed delivery which is nice. UPS and Fedex have similar features. I need to know when certain things are arriving to plan other things and these types of services help me immensely.

 

I had the pleasure of building and installing these for @TacoSupremo19 He went with a d2s 5.0 retrofit, light smoke side markers with amber led bulbs, and smoked turn signal covers. They look awesome on his super clean ‘19 trd sport!

 

For anyone wondering on the brightness of the turn signals with the smoked covers installed, I was able to get this illuminated picture from @TacoSupremo19 truck. These are just stock bulbs, honestly very little effect on output.

 

Thanks for that! I bought some Vleds to just to make sure I overcome the smoke cover.

I’d be interested too. Any issues with Moisture ever? I always see the aftermarket ones seem to fog up like cheap shit. Not saying yours will I’m just wondering..

 

These aren’t aftermarket. And I haven’t seen a review yet that says anything about them not being sealed up perfectly after they are built.

 

I’m fully aware that there not aftermarket. But separating lenses and then re sealing them is what I was referring.. I’m interested in getting a set.

 

Of course. I believe he said he hasn’t had a customer come back to him with that issue. My only hesitation is deciding how I want them built. Everything I’ve seen the quality is excellent

 

Few rains here and no issues. Get them built how u want. Don't skimp and just buy once cry once. There's a few lil things I want now and it irks me haha.

 

Just wanted to chime in on the awesome job Kevin did with my lights. Having only owned this truck for a few months, still one of the 1st things I noticed was the weak light output. That's not the case anymore. Man, it's nice to see the road, even in the rain. Also, I too was worried about the brightness of the turn signal. Honestly, can't say I notice much of a difference with it. Looks fine to me and looks completely black without it on too. In the video below I have the MESO V4 side mirror turn signals and I think their close enough in color and intensity. Couple all this with doing the install in his garage for free in about 1.5 hrs ( he probably would have done it faster without me there) GREAT job Kevin. You da man!! Thank you!!!
