15's will hit the calipers on a 6 lug Taco unless you use about 6" wheel spacers.

I know. That's why I mentioned that they won't fit.

The wheel or rim fitment is min 16" for a 6 lug and the tire size is determined by the lift. So factory as far as I know can handle around a 31.5 inch tire (265/75R16 or so) but since you have the lift you can go even bigger (a lot bigger seemingly but I'm not sure how big)

Although... you never know so if the deal is close by maybe you can drive over and test fit the wheels on your front to see if they rub on the caliper.

I'm curious as I saw some steel 15" wheels with mud tires for cheap but 1.5 hour ride to test fit doesn't seem like the smartest idea especially since I've never heard of a 15" fitting.

Has anyone ever fit a 15" to a 3rd gen?

Okay so no 15s, a 16x8, or16x9 would fit on a 6 lug taco correct?

Most, but not all, aftermarket 16" wheels will clear the calipers. If you find some that you're interested in, test fit before you buy.

There are plenty of good looking factory Toyota 16" wheels that will fit.
