I really wish I remembered to post this when Dennis mentioned me reading too much yesterday. Still funny. RIP Bill.

In what drive through do you back out of?
This guy was in my drive through. Got his stuff then decided he would back out. Well he hit a jeep behind him.

:frusty: Dealership strikes again..... gotta go buy a THIRD oil filter housing since the dealership keeps cranking them on with the damn drain plug and now I can't get the thing off without cracking another housing.

God damnit Sterling McCall.... I thought you were better than Don McGill... YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE!

In all honesty, your drive-thru is a bit of a mess. Normally you drive through and around the building, in your's if you do that you might end up on the tracks.

Take it back to the dealer. Show proof of last time you were there.

Pretty sure there's a replacement housing made of metal somewhere in the interwebs

Yup, part 15620-31060. Problem is, it doesn't have the retention tab the plastic one has to prevent accidental backing off, so there's the catch-22

They told me they aren't responsible, that "they don't use the drain bolt, they only use the filter housing tool and therefor couldn't have touched the bottom drain" :crapstorm:

I have never used the drain bolt tbh. I just unscrew the housing.

I mean, I thought about that, but I'm worried the housing may have been cracked with the retards using it as the point to torque the whole assembly down. I've already had 2 cracked by Don McGill :frusty:

Had I done the last change, and it was just seized up, I might be more comfortable leaving it and not give it a second though.

Fuck all that. Every oil filter and housing just goes hand snug. I’m only 26 but I’ve never had the method fail me or leak lol
