I'm sure this has been discussed on here before but I did a search and didn't see anything. Does anyone know if leveling the truck messes with the pre collision sensor?

It might. Makes a difference if you change the stance. If you go bro lean (nose high), then yes I could see it causing issues. I have a 2.5 inch lift, kept the stock stance, I have zero issues.

Theoretically yes, to the point where toyota won't perform warranty work on the PCS system on a lifted tacoma. In reality it has to have some leeway for when the bed is loaded, etc. I lifted my truck about 1.5 inches but I put a grill on which lowered the radar(lidar?) system probably 3-4 inches. I haven't had any issues but who knows if it works 100%. Maybe if I have 800 lbs in the bed and I'm gunning it down hill or something it won't work, but I just try to pay attention when I drive.

    Bilstein 6112 front
    Dakar OME leaf springs rear.

For slightly more than a leveling kit, I'd look at bilstein 5100 shocks. The front ones are ride height adjustable 0-2". Then go AAL rear. Just my opinion.

Right, I wouldn't get rid of it, and I'm sure it's working fine on my truck in 99% of use cases. I was just saying if you change the original orientation, you can't be sure it will work perfectly in every case.

I have the 15 TRD Pro suspension installed, whish raised front 1.75, added 3 leaf in back (2"). No problems at all. But, and it's a big but. Just had TSS recall, and dealer made me sign paper work stating they reprogrammed TSS, not to cycle on not at every start. They turned it off. I had to turn it back on, and now it will stay in last position I leave it, not automatically on at every start up. They did 15 TRD Pro suspension, two years ago.

This is why I have refused to sign that paperwork. That tsb was created, IMO, so they can make us owners sign off on any liability toward Toyota. Sneaky sneaky Toyota, bastards.

I also did not sign it and added the tape to the top myself. No more issues.

I agree with you on reason tsb, was created. I said to them, what if I refusing to sign. They stated, it's all been documented anyway. I said well, you installed them, and they are OEM TRD Pro parts anyway (except 3 leaf add a leaf, which I installed later on. Just said F* it, and signed. Been driving 39yrs, and never had that TSS shit before. Don't rely on it now. New truck every three years (1yr left) anyway, business write off. Just pisses you off, little sneaky bastards...

Edit: They recall fix (Foam tape upper half)) What a joke, also...
