2 key differences: "houses" include the value of the building and the value of the underlying land. often the house itself is worth less. its the underlying land that appreciates in value if you live in an area with a strong economy and good jobs that drive the demand for housing near employment areas. Secondly, houses have value derived from potential cash flow from rents, which tend to increase over time assuming the aforementioned economic conditions. Even in cases where the structure has not been updated, people will still rent outdated homes because of other factors including location.

I don't see any 2012 reg cabs with 17K miles, just the black one with 37,500 miles, is that your truck?

I bought mine 2 years ago for 23k with 3800 miles on it, but it was garage kept by a collector and had TRD wheels and an undercover tonneau. I won't include the nerf bars or rain deflectors because I hated them...
P.S. I hate my color too. Love the buckets though.

People are putting too much weight on the obscene dealer asking price. The vehicle didnt *appreciate* 5% in 8 years.

Yep, at least from a financial perspective. Low miles, paid for, nice truck etc etc.

At a minimum sold it private party.

JMHO, which is worth about the number of electrons it took to write this.

Hilarious how everyone keeps saying stealership and he was robbed nobody held a gun to his head and a) made him trade in his truck and b) buy a new one. At the end of the day he had his big boy pants pulled way up and signed the papers ‍♂️

Dealers don’t use Kelly Blue Book,Edmunds or NADA these are consumer guides for public consumption.
The use Black Book or pay below auction prices because they can always buy at auction which is not open to public. What they really like is when a mark comes in and they bamboozle them with the 4 square game or they sell you a payment. You lose every time selling to a dealer that’s fact. Sorry but they are in business to make money, not be your pal.
