A544B05D-4CAC-4210-8942-BA11BBA7E87E.jpg I bought some black anzo headlights for my 2000 Tacoma and I’m looking into getting some black marker lights to match. I found a pair that I want but in the description it say it will only fit the 2WD models. My question is that will it/can I make it fit my 4x4 truck? I kinda wanna know before I dump 30 bucks on some useless lenses. Thanks

I'm pretty sure they're the same. You could try contacting the seller, or perhaps doing a part number lookup for the OEM one and see if they're the same part #'s.

That said, there are a lot of Amazon/Ebay sellers that just don't care enough to know the difference between a "2wd" and a Pre-runner and even use those interchangeably. Kinda the risk of buying those kinds of parts from a non auto-parts specialist.

5 lug 2WD tacomas have different fenders from 4WD and prerunners. Look at the images below and you can see how the body line is straighter on the 2WD model. This also slightly changes the shape of the corner light.

The other problem is that most ebay listings don't even really know this. For example, the link you posted shows a picture of a truck with 4WD fenders, but it states that they only fit 2WD.

I honestly can't tell a difference between those two, lol. But that makes sense.

These fit really really badly. I bought a set for my truck. There’s a large gap around the light, and the bulb socket fits loosely in the poorly molded bulb receptacle. Skip it. Stay OEM.

Yeah that’s what I saw doing some research on similar years. I’m glad you bit the bullet so I didn’t half to thanks
