Installed @mattgecko bed lights. Much more difficult than I remember with my last Taco. Still love them!

I've used AAA Roadside Service several times.

In fact, I used AAA Roadside Service today.

It started out well enough. I picked up a "fixer upper" tool box at a local truck shop.
    20200210_180701.jpg
Then Home Depot, Abbabba Bolt, then to pick up my Tacoma parts I'm going to sell (finally!). 2 of the 4 parts are incorrect. I think I can fix them and it still be a quality piece.

Then havoc. I'm driving to buy a used drill because I burnt my old one up. The brake pedal went to the floor. They weren't pumping up but all of the sudden I had extremely strong brakes. I met the guy and bought the used drill (more parts to finish). I had that guy jump in my truck and start it and hit the brakes after I noticed the right front wheel well was FUBAR with brake fluid. He hit the brakes and it was a really bad leak at the hard line on the caliper. Since the dirt roads in TJ are in Baja they aren't smooth at all. Washboard road x3. I immediately thought it was a cracked brake line. I had no tools, except a cordless drill and a flashlight with no batteries. Lol.

So I called AAA Roadside Service and they towed me home free of charge. Which is a beautiful thing, especially if you're like me and see a loose brake fitting and think it's a cracked brake line.

Air did get into the ABS module.

On a brighter note, a friend of mine is chauffeuring me to my appointment tomorrow with a contractor to get my house built.

Digging the blue bracket! Did that come with your Kings or did you have it done to the brackets that King provides?

Thanks! The bracket came with the Kings in raw aluminum and I just found a paint at Home Depot that seemed to be pretty close to the King blue of the springs. Figured I would try it out and if I didn't like it I could always just paint them black.

Why didnt you end up cutting the rear fenders? With your level of precision it would look pretty sweet

what size Dog?? I’ve got a girl, she’s got a dog AND I’ve got a dog. We did a great trip last fall in the AC. No issues. You just need a deck so that you don’t lose usable space for humans in the cab while having space for the dogs. D6D7C452-2AE7-475B-BA41-DE419F73F732.jpg31188FA4-4592-4D6C-A1D3-5B993DD92A60.jpg
