I paid Paypal for that tool kit. And I just took down the card from Paypal, so hopefully the card won't get used for anything else unless they can hack Paypal's or Bank of America's systems to get my card info for future purchases? Or I might be naive as to how that stuff works. I kinda felt like taking the $99 gamble to see if this turned out to be true.

    Scam.

Although having a bank of america account is a scam in its own right.

I've seen a lot more friends get their credit cards hacked than mine over the years. I've been happy enough. Still doesn't mean my tools will show up even if my card isn't hacked for future shenanigans.

The biggest problem that we have is counterfeit merchandise. Amazon & Alibaba are the worst at selling the stuff.

Alibaba is a Chinese website that only sells cheap shit. Same as wish.

If you buy from Amazon, just make sure it's sold by Amazon too (or a reputable seller.)

ANYBODY can open up an Amazon marketplace shop and set their price 1¢ lower than the next lowest and they'll be the "default" seller

Like I said... knowingly sniffing out fraud but figuring the gamble would pay nicely if I win. I don't spend money at casinos or on tons of booze, tatoos, cigarettes, etc... so humor me to venture the excitement or entertainment value on just watching if this plays out for worse or good. :)

Sorry friends. Reworded. Each of us can drop some change here and there on things we find exciting, entertaining, and cool.

Lottery tickets... better analogy. If my tools don't show up its like buying lottery tickets. You know most times aren't ever gonna win.

For me it's not really an issue of if I get it, but more if I will actually use half the crap I buy online. A solid 70% of the camping stuff I buy, I end up forgetting about when I pack.

Leaving Pennsylvania for Colorado... Sorry friends!

First time hauling a trailer with the Tacoma though, so that'll be fun.

Also... took the truck to Faulkner Toyota in Harrisburg. They got the aftermarket TPMS to work with the truck.

It was fine the way it was worded the first time.

A person has to spend money on things they want from time to time .

It is only when that spending takes priority over everything else things get interesting .

I like the lottery ticket reference.
