Mine has four Denso's and two NGK's, so I'm hoping it doesn't matter...

The 5VZ engine came with half Denso and half NGK from the factory. Don’t really know why but I haven’t noticed a difference as long it’s the same dual electrode plug, shouldn’t matter wether the brand is Denso or NGK. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are made in the same place and then branded different.

Glad to hear I at least have an idea of what I’m talking about
Honestly a lot of my knowledge came from Timmy the Toolman’s videos. If you can find a tutorial from him watch the entire thing, it’s funny and is full of lots of good info.

From the very first repair doing my timing belt on my 98 4runner when I was 20 to now 3 years later with my Tacoma, I haven’t done a lot but I’ve learned a lot about anything with a 5VZ. And I’m about to learn more after doing a auto to manual swap :duh:

A that's awesome man and yep Timmy is a rockstar in these parts because of how much he had helped the DIY community with these walk through vids. All the info one could need. Like an FSM in video form:D

Just get whatever the manual says.

So wait, I don't have to go into my media page and add from there?

Wish I would’ve known about that before doing mine. I paid about $114 for the part from my local Toyota and installed it myself.
