Buddy at work with an 05 got a letter in the mail from Toyota and took it to local dealership. Same guy's son has an 07, took it to same dealership and they replaced his without any prior paperwork.

Alexander Toyota in Yuma replaced the leaf springs on my truck while there for something else, without asking me first, and could not have done a worse job. They screwed up the alignment on my truck leaving the steering wheel 30° off center. I went back hours later and pointed this out, the service manager said it was "normal". I checked the shackle bolts, three were loose and none were torqued correctly. If I would not have checked, the rear axle may have separated from the truck. I'm trying to determine if these are the springs that belong on the truck or just some springs they wanted to get rid of.
One trip to the dealer for a $300 transmission service that they also screwed up, is going to cost twice or three times that.
Absolutely can't trust Toyota dealers. Especially Alexander Toyota in Yuma AZ.
