    Hi guys,

I am in the market for a tacoma so I thought I'd register. There seems to be a lot of useful information here and I hope to share my experiences once I buy it.

While shopping around I noticed a few differences in suspension set ups for the 1st gen tacomas. For example, this grey 96 I was looking to buy seems considerably lower than the white 99. Both seem to have stock suspension.

Can anyone tell me if the stock 96 suspension can be adjusted higher to stock 99 specs perhaps?? I'm trying to decide whether it's worth buying the grey one or looking for one that already has the "lifted" look.

    Thanks in advance!!

the gray one is a 5 lug and has a 4cylinder engine and the white one is a 6 lug and has a v6

im not too sure about lifting the gray one but somebody might chime in with a similar truck.
