Yea I never had any luck bending mine back back when I would open the door it would scratch inside the inside of the housing. I tried just pulling it down and shifting it by hand but never got it back in line.

Thanks for confirming what I was thinking. I agree that it looks cleaner.

    I finished my rear suspension.

    FEBF9BF2-4C67-4843-8F61-F8DE6C43AD63.jpg

Bilstein 5100s (lowest notch) all around
OME 888s up front, Medium Dakars rear
    SPC Light Racing UCA’s

Taking some measurements tomorrow, then adding a carrier bearing drop kit.
4 wheel alignment to come, then
255/80R17 Falken Wildpeaks on T4R Pro wheels.

It’s finally coming together, but it hurts. My old body isn’t used to this much wrenching on a cold garage floor.

Honestly it only took about a hour, and that’s me trying to do it in the dark. If I would have been daylight it might have taken me 30-45 minutes.

    Hey,

Ive been looking into lifting my 2017 SR5. I also want to add leaf springs because I have additional weight with the camper, etc.

I’m kinda new to it all and I don’t know much. I was looking at this today: I don’t want to lift more than 2” but I definitely also need to do something about the weight back there.

Would like to stay under $1,500 if possible.

    help a brotha out?

Thanks. Mines all stock and not lifted though. Best person for pricing and general info is Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road. She’s probably helped outfit half the trucks here. Either with info or sales.

Look into the RoadMaster Active Suspension kit. I got the lift in the rear I wanted without compromising comfort and the ability to load up the box and pull a trailer with little sag.

Nice! I’ve been having trouble with my TSS sensor since I put my Taco Garage Grill on. Let me know if you run into trouble too please. Mine will be ok for a few miles but come on saying clean sensor. Although it didn’t happen this morning.

I also have that model rack (not installed yet). It looks really good and I like how tight it is to the roof. Very sharp sir!
