Definitely check out Headstrong Offroad. Best prices, support, and information. I would have ordered everything from them if I wasn’t trying to use up some Hilton points on Amazon. I paid more on amazon but was able to use my points. What I couldn’t easily find there I did purchase from Headstrong.

Thank you Shane! It was a beautiful day and not cold at all. But the garage floor sure felt cold on my old bones. Those Dakars are HEAVY and every muscle between my waist and chin are reminding me today that I probably should not have done this one solo.

Let me know how you fix this issue. It's the only thing keeping me from changing out the grill.

that's hands-down the best shifter on the market for this truck. look into Core's offerings and you'll see there are other arms available and any knob you want. if you're a real MT guy this is the one to have. :burp:

My warning came on about 35 seconds into my drive.
    Pretty damn annoying for sure.
Has anyone contacted them about a fix?

Finally put my Camburg BJ UCAs on the other day. Have new tires/wheels coming, so I had to break down and get it done. Gonna try to pull my rear overload spring prior to the alignment/tire install.

So I just got done chatting with Taco Garage

They claim all three screws are supposed to be reused to hold the sensor on as well as the two inserts

after watching the YouTube video last night while installing, it shows only using one screw, the top one.
Maybe I was dreaming when I watched it, not too sure, but they claim not using all three screws is the issue.

Going to fix now and update in a bit

Also and I am not sure which YouTube video you are talking about but read the comments. In particular I left comments about what was done wrong. Use all the screws.

Mine I did proper installation using the Taco G garnish and obviously reusing the sensor. Plus I put the sticky back rubber wrap plus deadener on the reverse side. Works great.

I bought the faux pro grille from Toyota Pro Shops (maybe? I can’t remember) Depending on how long y’all have had it installed it will throw the system failure every time until it’s recalibrated. You just took a radar detection system and moved it’s location a few inches down from where it’s programmed from the factory. I have a short commute but it took maybe a couple weeks until it stopped giving the failure warning. So give it time, and more than likely it will smooth itself out. Mine has worked great since, other than a couple times when I took my grille out and had to unplug it, then it might’ve been a bugger for a couple days.

Hope so too. I’m starting to feel like I e should have went with Fox like I originally planned. They’re at their shop at the moment. But I showed up at one of their busiest times. With king of the hammers just passing. So I probably won’t see them back for a few days

    Thanks for that info.
I went back and redid everything and TSS lit right back up. I’ll drive her a week or so and see if it recalibrates
