I just wanted to give some insight, HREW and DOM weigh the same exact. In regards to weight you want to make sure the slider has all-round tubing, the square or rectangular tubing will weigh a lot more. For Cali Raised LED we do not upcharge customers for our DOM tubing, and want to provide the best quality for no extra charge.

Love my Cali raised sliders. I went with 0 degrees so my ex wife has a step.

 

Loving the new slider design with the bolt on fill plates rather than the riveted ones. Wish mine were like that, would make touching up the paint a MILLION times easier.

 

Hmmm, that's the first time I've heard HREW was just as heavy as DOM. Could have sworn I had seen others list different weight for HREW vs DOM. I'll have to see if I can find those.

 

Then buy from someone else, there's probably 10 different companies making sliders. Why did you feel the need to share your opinion and wants in a thread that doesn't offer what you want? Go somewhere else.

Haha. Calm down dork. I wasn't at all trying to argue or call Cali liars....simply saying that it surprised me and I'd like to see why or if I had actually seen others that listed weight differently. I was surprised in a good way as the Cali sliders are my #1 choice right now and knowing HREW isn't lighter than DOM makes the decision easier. Sorry, I forgot this wasn't a forum where opinions and knowledge was shared. Chill out.

My slider flexed enough to hit my body, Still trying to figure out if it’s normal.

 

Nice, off topic but did you tint your driver side windows? May I ask what percentage? Also, how are they from the inside? Matching the rear? Compared to the front and back I mean. Thanks in advance!

Yes driver side tinted 35% and rear is 5%. Front feels lightly tinted from inside, back is super dark but can still see during the day easily. At night it’s a little tougher to see out the back when parking but otherwise all good.
