Im currently running a pro comp nitro 3/1 setup and BFG TKO AT's 285 70 R17 + Pro Comp 7069's and I definitely am having some rubbing issues.

I was thinking of switching to the TRD baja wheel (16's) just cuz they look so badass. I like my setup currently and I was wondering what size BFG'S should i get for this rim without losing beefiness (hope im describing this right, i mean the distance from the edge of the tire to the rim) without rubbing while still maximizing the clearance my pro comp nitro 3/1 gives me?

Should i get a 265/275 tire to minimize rubbing but still have that same look in terms of beefiness? Because if itll still rub then ill just do 285s again + a CBC.

Any advice will do, i still get confused with these measurements. Thanks guys!

You’re referring to tire sidewall as beefiness. You’re going to rub if you wheel the truck on 285’s.
You need more castor to move the wheel away from the (CMC) cab mount chop and yes you need a (CMC). You need proper bump stop spacing anytime you install a spacer lift like you did. If you do properly space your bump stops you will lose up travel and it might help you not rub as bad. Anyone who tells you different either has never cycled their suspension with the springs removed or they’re retarded. Oh and this question has been asked probably 18,235,495 million times.

Aftermarket upper control arms. JBA, SPC, Camburg and the list goes on. They help with alignment issues and allow you to have more caster.

jba control arms are very well made, I have the HD high castor set and they don’t make any bit of noise and low maintenance.

I have high caster standard duty JBAs. Love them. Truck is way more stable at highway speeds along with added articulation.
