It's all good. I didn't even know SR5's came with steelies.

 

Other changes I've noticed are they removed the go pro mount and also the ability to turn headlights to off position. 2 clicks from automatic lights to on position. Kind of annoying to not have the option. I could see how people would have just left it in auto before, but I'm old fashioned and used on or off, thatway there was no question as to the status of my rear lights.

 

I think they eliminated the off position so there is no chance of you driving in the dark with no tail lights.

 

Lol. Until the 18, I had never had auto lights, so I just never used them on the 18. There's something that makes me think auto light s doesn't neccesarily mean that all lights are on. Maybe it's just the headlights? Dumb, that I don't even know.

 

Auto lights turn on when it's dark, otherwise you are driving with daytime running lights. The Colorado has that and people have removed the spring inside the switch to allow for turning off the headlights.
